Display Modes

Hi-Techniques’ powerful software is custom-built to provide real-time visualization and control in a variety of display formats.

Oscilloscope Mode

The real-time Oscilloscope mode provides a fast triggered oscilloscope display with several screen updates per second for repetitive events. For critical transient recorder applications, data is captured independently to RAM without interaction from the Windows PC. Never again worry about Windows processes interrupting that critical capture. Flexible triggering selections block high or low frequency noise and and provide solid triggering for worry free capture.

Continuous Recorder Mode

The smooth scrolling recorder mode operates like an on-screen strip chart recorder. View real-time scrolling data at speeds of up to 100 kSps per second while simultaneously storing to on-board RAM or dedicated hard disk drive. Live, interactive controls for the channel ranges and timebases make active viewing of data a snap. Key events can be tagged on-the-fly for later review.

FFT Analyzer Mode

The FFT analyzer mode enables real-time spectrum analysis of up to 4 channels at frequency ranges up to ½ the digitizing rate (up to 10 MHz). The analyzer has selections for Windowing (Hanning, Hamming, etc.), for types of FFT outputs (Magnitude, dB, 1/3rd Octave, PSD, etc.), and for size and center frequency. Data can be displayed in the time or frequency domain or as a 3D waterfall display.
