Acquisition Cards

You may freely select any combination of acquisition cards, all synchronously sampled and especially designed with signal integrity in mind. Unlike most competitors, all Hi-Techniques cards include a generous transient memory with hardware trigger on all channels, plus the ability to stream to disk or rugged flash disk. High performance features include:

  • Independent digitizers per channel – no time skew or phase errors
  • Acquisition rates to 50 MS/s
  • Voltage ranges from +/- 1mV to +/- 50 Volts
  • Programmable filters for anti-aliasing and noise reduction
  • Independent sample rates and trigger delays per card
  • Fast hardware sequencing and averaging with minimal dead time
  • True hardware external clock for rotational applications

Data Acquisition, Transient Recorders, Engine Analysis, CombustionAll cards can optionally be equipped with programmable analog filters, which reject noise and alias frequencies before the ADC. Our purist designs utilize digital potentiometers rather than the cheaper and much noisier switched-capacitor types. Choose Bessel characteristics for the best time-domain step response or Butterworth for the flattest frequency-domain response. It pays to compare: many competitors use sigma-delta converters with 20% overshoot!

Other plug-in modules are available including thermocouple and RPM inputs, digital I/O and analog outputs.
